• To establish The Center for The Quilt, a place that actively communicates with people about quilts and their meaning

The Center for The Quilt, America's Quilt Home™, is the essential vision under which The Alliance's existing and planned projects develop. The idea of The Center for The Quilt has evolved from a single, centralized institution to a diversified network of partners around the country, all serving similar goals to educate, document, interpret, preserve, and present information of and about quilts and quilt history. Aspects of The Center for The Quilt will exist nationally, regionally, and virtually.
